This is a used, 2016 Pinarello Dogma K8-S Team Sky Edition.
Pinarello Dogma K8-S review by Cycling Weekly:
You’re unlikely to discover a ride equal to this. The frame is
as light and stiff as someone could ask for, even as the elastomer provides
cushioning and traction that you just won’t get on some other aero road frame. From
crits to long days within the saddle, this bike will do it all and as such will
suit folks that experience big-distance challenge events in addition to the racers out
there.
All great, in fact, but there’s another thing that stands
out, and makes the K8-S much more praise-worthy. It is among the such a lot practical
bikes I’ve ever worked on. Aero bikes, like TT machines, are renowned for
fiddly bolts tucked away in hard-to-get-at places, making maintenance a
nightmare. No longer with the Dogma. Each bolt is easily accessible and adjustments
are easy. What number of top quality bikes are you able to say that about? This was once a
design brief and so they’ve nailed it://www.cyclingweekly.com/reviews/road-bikes/pinarello-dogma-k8-s
Sir Bradley Wiggins known as the Pinarello K8-S a “game
changer”. Pinarello Dogma K8-S features Dogma Suspension System, a genuine
rear suspension, with as much as 10mm of trip. Pinarello claims that combined with
the F8’s aerodynamic fork, DSS reduced vibrations by 50%, increased speed by 8%
and energy usage by 10%. Bold claims, but Jaguar-Land Rover confirmed these
statistics with their wind tunnel testing. After lab testing, Wiggo and
Christian Knees of Team Sky raced the K8-S at Paris-Roubaix.
The Pinarello Dogma K8-S frame weighs 990 grams, including
the Dogma Suspension System. The Suspension was once designed with
“lightweight” in mind, even as walking hand in hand with new carbon
chainstays (FLEXSTAYS™) creating a pivot point for a comfortable ride.
Condition: This 2016 Pinarello Dogma K8-S Team Sky Edition
is Used and in superb condition. The bike was once purchased from Pinarello in
mid-2016 and used 1 year. There are a couple of small cosmetic scuffs and blemishes
within the paint at the drive chain stay and front fork.
