Colnago Oval Titan 57 x 55.5 Titanio

Description

I came home with n+1 last week so here is my last road bike up for sale.

This bad ride is from the overdue 90’s. I believe they began making this frame in 1997 and could have for a couple of years (there’s a catalog scan from 97 online that shows the oval titan and the only from 2001 does No longer have it) and is fabricated from 6/4 titanium. Colnago made {several|a couple of|a number of} titanium bikes over time – the bi-titan, oval master, mono titan and the CT1. This certainly one of course has the skinny ovalized best and down tubes. This creates a stiff yet at ease titanium ride. The frame is a 57cm in keeping with Colnago. It’s measured 57 center to best. The highest tube is 55.5cm. Headtube is 147mm. I’m 5’11” and ride with a 74.5cm saddle height (which is how It’s set up here).

The Art Decor paint job has a couple of chips, but in great shape overall and appears wonderful with the matching steel Precisa threaded fork. Sorry It’s dirty within the pics…most certainly because I do not in point of fact wish to sell.

Build:
Wheels – Mavic Open Pro with Chorus hubs – Centaur Cassette 12-25
Components – Campagnolo Centaur 10 speed (2006 I believe)
Crankset – 53/39 172.5
Headset – threaded Ti Colnago w/needle bearings
Bars – Easton
Stem – Ritchey (the use of threadless adapter)
Seatpost- Thomson
Saddle – Selle SMP Forma (could have any other possibility or two)
Weight – No longer essential – it is not a weight weenie ride…perhaps 21?
