This 2016 Scott Addict CX/Gravel bike has been ridden little or no as the pics show. I purchased it in Would possibly, and used it right through the Summer as my gravel bike. I then switched the Shimano components to SRAM Force 1×11 components in early September for Cyclocross season. Unfortunately, injuries suspended my season after 3 races (none of them muddy). With my season done, I will be able to’t come up with the money for to keep the bike…and I would really like to keep it. It is extremely light and very fast, taking me to 2nd and 3rd place finishes (over 2 days) at the West Sacramento cyclocross grand prix within the Men’s A/B 45+ category.
Frame: Scott Addict Carbon HMX flat-mount disc only frame
Fork: Scott Addict Carbon HMX flat-mount fork
Seatpost: Syncros carbon
Saddle: Syncros hollow cro-mo
Stem: 100 mm Syncros aluminum
Bars: 44mm Dynamo shallow/short (very light and strong)
Tape: Lizard skin
Shifters: SRAM Force carbon 1×11
Rear Der: SRAM Force CX1
Crankset: 170mm SRAM Force carbon CX1
Chain: SRAM 11 speed
Wheels: Syncros RP2.0, Aluminum rims with bladed spokes; hubs are branded Syncros, but are DT-Swiss made with 6-pawl driver
Tires: New Schwalbe Rocket Ron
The rear driver may also be switched very easily to an XD driver if you want to gravel grind with a much broader gear ratio. I’ve an XG-1199 10-42 tooth cassette and the XD driver needed for conversion. I would be willing to incorporate either one of those for the precise price.
Note: I did use a frame bag at the bike for a couple of rides, leaving the carbon somewhat shiny in a couple of places. It’s shown within the pics (above bottom bracket and on top tube)
Note #2: It’s not that i am sure if you’ll desire a different drive-side cap for the hub with the XD driver. If this is the case, they’re somewhat reasonably priced. When you’ve got not changed a DT-swiss driver before, It’s ultra easy…just pulls right off.
Thanks for taking a look!!
